Trial lawyers Gerry Dwyer and Kevin Brennan formed Dwyer & Brennan in 1989. Since then, they have represented individuals and companies throughout New York State — in the state courts located in the New York City metropolitan area, especially in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx, and in the federal courts. Both attorneys are highly experienced, having tried cases and argued appeals for more than 30 years.
Gerald P. Dwyer has tried dozens of cases to verdict and has argued appeals in New York state and federal courts. He works with clients to help them achieve resolution to claims involving personal injury and wrongful death arising from medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability, construction site accidents (New York Labor Law, including falls from scaffolding) and car accidents. Gerry also assists clients with insurance claim denials, declaratory judgment actions, and cooperative and condominium matters.
Kevin J. Brennan, also an experienced trial lawyer, now devotes much of his practice to helping injured and disabled people obtain financial compensation and benefits wrongly denied to them, including employee benefits under ERISA, long-term disability and other insurance benefits. In addition, Kevin has represented individuals and small businesses in a variety of lawsuits, including consumer and business fraud, breach of contract and partnership agreements, mortgage foreclosure, and insurance coverage disputes. He has taught legal education courses for New York City lawyers on how to try a case and on enforcing claimants' rights to ERISA benefits, and he is a contributing author to the textbook "Employee Benefits Law."

Our Fees
We offer many fee options, depending on the type of case, including flat fee, hourly fee, contingency fee based on a percentage of the award, contingency fee based on the time spent by the lawyer, and combination fee arrangements. If we accept your case on a contingency fee basis, this means that you do not pay attorneys fees unless and until we recover money for you (such as with a personal injury or disability case).
